World Of Goo Review

Hello everybody and welcome to my World of Goo Review. World of Goo is a single player, physics-based, 2D puzzle game which is developed by the independent video game developers 2D Boy (Kyle Gabler and Ron Carmel).

The game is like 60 mb big, 2D yet ''extremely'' successfull. The main idea of the game is to create bridge-likely structures by using the balls named ''Goo'', travel them to the pipe and get them in.

The physhic engine is very successfully designed. Many of the game authorities mentioned about it and it really deserves to get complimented. For the game ODL (Open Dynamics Engine) which has been programmed by using C and C++. Its two main components are a rigid body dynamics simulation engine and a collision detection engine. It is free software licensed both under the BSD Licence and the  LGPL.

Besides the main campaing, as you advance in the campaing, ''World of Goo Corporation'' challenge will be unlocked. In this map, your goal is to build the highest tower possible with the goos that you collected through the campaing.

About the reception of the game, Windows and Wii versions of the game received critical acclaim, holding an aggregate score from Metacritic of 94/100 (Windows) and 90/100 (Wii). The website Eurogamer called the game ''Physics' latest, purest and most brillant gift.''

Here is a video of first 10 minutes of the game

You ''Must'' try World of Goo if you are called a gamer.Very simple yet entertaining, successfull and cleverly designed game. If you like to have fun and not like to spend too much time on games, you shoud try World of Goo.
